Pancoast & Clifford has been hard at work in recent months on a major addition and renovation project at Overbrook Golf Club in Radnor, PA. The project, a 2½ story, approx. 11,000 SF addition on top of a Cart Barn (also built by P&C approximately 10 years ago), includes a new Men’s Locker Room, Men’s Grill, Rooftop Terrace Bar, a full service commercial kitchen, and a covered extension of the Main Level Dining Terrace. The project is designed by Blackney Hayes Architects.
Pancoast & Clifford received two awards at the Eastern Pennsylvania Associated Builders and Contractors 2023 Excellence in Construction Awards Gala.
Concord Country Club won second place in the Commercial $1-5 million category. Designed by McGillin Architecture, Inc., the 10,000 SF renovation consists of 3,700 SF of interior dining and bar space with interior bar and wine storage, 1,300 SF of exterior covered bar and table space open to an exterior masonry terrace with built in seating and fire pits.
The newly constructed Radley Run Country Club was awarded first place in the Commercial $5-10 million category. Designed by Chambers USA Architecture, this clubhouse is a two-story building with locker rooms including showers and dressing areas, a full-service kitchen with dining and bar seating upstairs. The kitchen has an exterior service window with access from the cart paths. The second floor has a stone terrace area with outdoor bar and seating.
March 2024 – P&C is in the construction process for the Berwyn Firehouse. The firehouse is in the early stages. Worth about $3,800,000. The building consists of a new 2-story steel framed building with approximately 19,800 total square-feet.
August 2023 – Pancoast & Clifford has been awarded a contract to construct a new Turf Care Center for Applebrook Golf Club located in East Goshen Twp., PA. This project includes: site improvements; new Maintenance/Admin and Storage buildings. The project is designed by KSM Architects of Berwyn, PA.
(WEST CHESTER, PA) Barclay Park, LLC and Pancoast & Clifford are pleased to announce the construction of a new addition to the historic Hartshorne Mansion. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday, April 8th, 2021.
Located adjacent to Barclay Park, Hartshorne Mansion is a colonial revival Italianate building built in 1867 as a private residence. It now serves a professional office complex with 37 office suites, a conservatory lounge, and a wraparound deck overlooking the historic grounds.
Designed by VLBJR Architects, the planned 17,409 square feet addition will feature a brick and glass façade, combining historical aspects of the original building with contemporary design elements. Pillar Real Estate Advisors will be managing the leasing for the property.
July 2019 – P&C celebrated the topping off at The River House at Odette’s, a new $25 M luxury boutique hotel located in New Hope, PA.The 54,000-square-foot, 34-room hotel is scheduled to open in Spring 2020.
July 2019 – P&C began renovations to Otto’s MINI in West Chester. The project includes the renovation of an existing building into a new auto showroom.
May 2019 – P&C completed construction on Holiday Inn & Suites – Drexel Hill, a brand new hotel that includes 86 guest rooms and 14 suites, conference facilities, an indoor pool and fitness center, along with a patio bar and lounge.
November 2018 – P&C recently completed construction on the Rushton Conservation Center in Newtown Square, a facility that will advance the Willistown Conservation Trust’s research and education activities. The timber-frame building includes a library, field station, research and meeting spaces, and an open demonstration kitchen.
March 2019 – P&C completed construction on the Broomall Firehouse. The new, state-of-the-art firehouse is designed to accommodate modern apparatus and recent advances in firefighting technology. The 22,000-square-foot facility is located at the northeast corner of West Chester Pike and Malin Road.
